What we collect, what we don’t, and what you can ask us to do about it.

The short version
This website does not track you. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising pixels. There is no form to fill in and no account to create.
Everything we know about you, you told us: by messaging us on WhatsApp, calling, emailing, or coming in for an appointment. Health information you share is treated as confidential clinical information and is not sold, shared for marketing, or published in any form.
Who this applies to
Novus Advanced Physio & Rehabilitation, 21398 St no 4, Power House Road, Bathinda, Punjab 151001 (“we”, “us”) is the data fiduciary for the information described here. This policy covers this website and the enquiries that reach us through it.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us through one of the links on this site, we receive whatever you choose to send:
- Your name, phone number, or email address, depending on how you get in touch.
- Your WhatsApp display name and profile photo, if you message us there. That is how WhatsApp works, and not something we ask for.
- Anything you tell us about your symptoms, injury, or medical history. This is health data, and we treat it accordingly.
You decide how much to share before booking. You do not need to describe your condition over WhatsApp to make an appointment.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs covering IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, as every web server does. These are used to keep the site running and secure, not to build a profile of you.
What we do not do
- No analytics, heatmaps, or session recording.
- No advertising or remarketing pixels.
- No cookies set by this website.
- No selling, renting, or trading of anyone’s information, ever.
- No newsletter or marketing list. We do not have one.
Third parties involved in this site
A few outside services are reached when you use this site. Each has its own privacy policy, and we have no control over what they collect:
- Google Maps. The map on our contact page is embedded from Google. Loading that page sends your IP address to Google, and Google may set its own cookies.
- WhatsApp (Meta). Messaging us opens WhatsApp. Your conversation with us is governed by WhatsApp’s terms as well as this policy.
- Instagram (Meta) and Google Business Profile. Both are linked from this site. Anything you post publicly there, including a review, is public.
- Our hosting provider and image hosts. These receive your IP address in order to deliver the page and its images to your browser.
We do not show a cookie consent banner because this site sets no cookies for which consent would be required. The only third-party cookies you might receive come from the embedded Google map described above.
Health information and clinical records
If you become a patient, we keep clinical records: your assessment findings, treatment provided, progress, and any correspondence with other clinicians involved in your care. These records exist so that we can treat you properly and so that there is an accurate account of what was done.
Your records are seen only by:
- the clinicians treating you, and administrative staff who need access to schedule care;
- another healthcare provider, where you ask us to refer you or share information with them;
- anyone we are legally required to disclose to, such as under a court order or a statutory obligation.
We will not discuss your care with a family member without your agreement, other than where you lack capacity to consent or where the patient is a child in the care of a parent or guardian.
Children
We treat children, and we take their data seriously. Where a patient is under 18, we process their information on the basis of verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. We do not use children’s data for any form of tracking, profiling or targeted advertising. We do not do those things for anyone.
How long we keep things
- Enquiries that do not become appointments. Kept only as long as needed to answer you, then deleted.
- Clinical records. Retained for the period required of healthcare providers under applicable Indian law and professional guidance, and then securely destroyed.
- Server logs. Retained briefly by our host for security and reliability.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and what we have done with it;
- correct anything inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date;
- erase information we no longer need, noting that clinical records must be kept for their required retention period, so this right is not absolute for patient records;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapable of doing so yourself;
- withdraw consent, where we relied on your consent to process something.
Ask by emailing novuswellnessphysio@gmail.com or calling +91 6239-300121. We may need to confirm your identity first, since a record request should not be handed to the wrong person.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. Email novuswellnessphysio@gmail.com, marking your message for the attention of the Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge and respond within the timeframe required by law.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information in our custody, including restricting access to clinical records to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, and we would rather say so than claim otherwise. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Any material change will be summarised here.
